Although there was some isolated flooding, basements filled with water, downed electrical wiring... good ol' Dunellen survived the hurricane pretty well. AND definitely fared better than neighboring towns (Middlesex, North Plainfield, Manville, and of course Bound Brook). However, the store's basement did get about a foot of water and most of the downtown (including us) did not have electricity for most of the week.
