As a small business owner, I understand the importance of this selling season. But I also understand that the way we live our lives today, that the time we spend with our loved ones is getting harder to find.
Heidi's Cottage is closed on Thanksgiving and on Black Friday.
For us, we have realized that the money we bring in will not equal the importance of seeing family and friends who live far away.
